Desert Island Discs

Quite recently I was introduced to the concept of desert island discs. While it may seem like something eaten at the end of one’s meal, let me guarantee you that it is not!

It is a simple concept in which music aficionados, bearing in mind that they have got lost either in a desert or an island, select ONLY eight tracks that they will keep with them throughout their time in exile. Mind you, these are the only things they are allowed to carry – nothing else!

I added my small twist to this challenge to make sure that I did not select more than one song from a particular artist and even extended the list to eleven, feeling eight to be far too less.

The Rolling Stones’ last live performance with the late Charlie Watts.

So here is my list for Disc A. Keep in mind that while it constantly keeps evolving, it is also a good marker of where you are in life.
