Completing six years at Sportskeeda

On this day, six years ago, I joined Sportskeeda and entered into a journey of self-fulfilment that often challenged me to seek from my deepest resources the best that I could proffer. Only the best would get through, and nothing else, I was told.

And today, as I enter into my seventh year of service with this extraordinary institution that has given me an identity almost singularly parallel to that of being a cricketer, I realise how valuable those words were. Journalism has always been the second-most important passion in my life, and I am extremely fortunate to have experienced the delight it offers over the last six years.

Snapped in the press box while covering the Pro Kabaddi League in February earlier this year.

Seeking the best out of myself and pushing my limits to an extent that only those of the most sweaty-browed could appreciate, seldom had merit been appreciated as much in my life as it had been at SK. I am immensely grateful to be a part of this organisation that has given wings to my dreams of becoming an acclaimed journalist across cricket, football and Olympic sports.

That I have been able to satisfy even a fragment of that dream speaks tonnes of what Sportskeeda has given me, apart from the passport to explore my inner self and drive myself to my highest potential. This journey of seeking the truth is challenging and yet rewarding beyond measure, and I intend to keep travelling till I am face-to-face with either myself or God, or both.
