Best dosas in Hyderabad: Taaza Kitchen, Madhapur

EPISODE 5: Taaza Kitchen in Madhapur, aiming to promote Karnataka’s cuisine in Hyderabad nails the masala dosa. I have tried the idli and vada there as well but remain unconvinced by their veracity.

The masala dosa, on the other hand, is a completely different animal. Crisp beyond measure and slathered with ghee, Taaza does an excellent rendition of the Karnataka-style masala dosa.

The filling impresses the gourmet as does the flavour that emanates from the outer layer. The taste, as is to be expected from such a delectable treat, is heavenly.

The eatery is hardly big enough to seat thirty people and that is perhaps the only thing that goes against it. The ambience, boasting of a few bamboos, has a lot going for it otherwise.

Taaza Kitchen is located here.
