EPISODE 4: The masala dosa at Blue Fox, Patny is heart-warming but seemingly misses out on a lot of basics. While the crispness of the dosa remains beyond all doubt, it is the filling that makes one turn away in distaste.
Slightly sweet brought on by the onset of caramelised onions, this part of the dosa misses the mark by some distance. While the size of the dosa disappoints too, it more than makes up for it with its aroma.
The ambience of the restaurant, part of the Minerva Grand Hotel in Patny seems lit dimly even during the day, and this seems to be a tad off-putting to the connoisseur seeking daylight.
