EPISODE 3: Swach in Hitec City is one of the few eateries in the city that offers authentic Karnataka-style tiffins. The masala dosa that we had here ticked the box in most categories and passed the test when it came to being satisfactory to one’s olfactory senses as well.
The size of the dosa here is its only drawback, but its other qualities more than made up for this tiny indiscretion. A dollop of ghee is added to the dosa before it is set out for the customer to collect, and this adds greatly to its aroma.

The texture of the dosa was rather thick, and this helped in ladling all the filling in one go. As for the filling, it was more than decent in its portion size. Comprising almost entirely of peas, onions and potatoes, it was mushy and yet remained consistent to the touch.
The dosa was crisp as well, and held its shape throughout despite being lathered with ghee and overburdened with the filling. The taste, in the end, was one full of delight, and turned out to be pleasing to the senses in the truest sense of the word.
Swach is located here.
