Regret is a wonderful thing,
Coupled with hindsight,
Equipped with blame and guilt,
It is enough to crush your soul
I am in such an abyss, looking for hope
Searching for light in the dark
Hunting for glory in the past
Regretting a move I made with disdain
But I believe in a forgiving God
One who understands the fallacy of man
One who believes in second chances,
This campaign has spluttered and started
And I have made mistakes galore
But my journey truly begins here.

Regret is surely a mysterious thing. It can make you a better decision maker. It can also pull you down if you begin doubting your decisions because of that one haunting regret. Very rightly said! Been there, done that. As you say because of a forgiving God, there is always a lingering hope that I will do better next time around. Beautiful words Mohul!

Yes, regret is probably one of the most powerful human emotions. It can cause you to look back at something with a clear mind and also prepare you better for the future so that you do not make the same mistake again. As I have already said, thank you very much for your kind words, ma’am!
