TIMELESS

He lays his head back to watch the sun set
It’s a dull orange now; no longer a threat.

He’ll take his time getting his things right

Before the day is done and turns into night.

There’s a special feeling watching such allure

What’s the right time? You can never be sure.

So the stage is set now and he is ready to go

His mind is racing and his heartbeat’s not slow.

He knows he buys a bit of perpetuity every time

Onto this particular mountain he makes the climb.

Picks up the camera lying beside him and snaps

To immortalise this moment for life and collapse.
