Hero Of The Past.

All of the beauty went away in a matter of seconds,

I couldn’t believe how quick it had all been.

The tides washed away all my tears,

The sea didn’t know how much more they had been.

I tried to walk home at night, alone,

As I thought about all the memories of past.

The light shone on me as the night lark went to sleep,

Leaving me to my woes and blood scattered on the grass.

The Sun rose the next day, it gave me the motive,

Your trail left me with an unending thirst of revenge on man.

The Sun shone away my fears,

Made me stronger just by its glare, like only it can.

The fear felt unfathomable, the joy absent,

When I felt what was there for none to see.

When the stars take away credit from the moon,

You can count yourself to be free.

The void left me stronger to pursue the clouds and my dreams,

I was undeterred to face it on its name.

You will always be hero of mine,

But what you’d done would add to the shame.

You gave me the courage to go on paths unknown,

Showed me ways where I could find none.

I’d always look up to you whether I need you or not,

It was your choice, not to go on.

I needed you from the day I was born, that’ll continue to be,

You taught me to live life as it was.

But your indecencies left me with no other choice,

Thou shall be called as my hero of the past.
